A Name for Herself is Carved out by Zoe Kravitz

In her most recent role in the film Catwoman in The Batman, Zoe Kravitz has proven that she is a force to reckon with.

Being the daughter of a famous power couple will net you some jobs in the interim however creating your own unique story is a daunting task. It is an immense amount of pressure to be the daughter of Lenny Kravtiz, a legendary musician, and Lisa Bonet, a television/movie star. When trying to find your own way it’s clear that you’re surrounded by expectations. In her role as the Catwoman to Robert Pattinson‘s Batman, She is subverting all expectations in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Kravitz was making a name for herself on her position in the Hollywood scene. Although her talent and nepotism helped, Kravitz, was only beginning to make her mark when she became the main character on Hulu’s High Fidelity. It was an adored cult success, but it was canceled after just one season. Even though she was featured in movies like Mad Max Fury Road or Fantastic Beasts, her roles were very minor.

Kravitz is perfect in the role of Selina Kyle, a jewel thief who is attracted to The Batman. She makes the role her own, one previously played by Anne Hathaway and Michelle Pfeiffer.

The Catwoman was her next host on Saturday Night Live. This is an obvious sign that you are moving in the right direction for an actress. Her opening monologue was flawless and continues to be everyone’s most loved. There were even photos of her posted on social media as Princess Bella from The Princess of the Frog. It got a lot of people’s attention because there isn’t a live-action version of that particular Disney film to date.

It is yet to be stated what will happen next for her career, but Kravitz definitely has a lot of potentials. She also has an immense amount of celebrity power. Her on-screen presence is definitely expanding. It’s clear that she’s getting more comfortable in the roles she is playing, and she can sometimes take the spotlight away from her co-stars. Even with standout characters like Paul Dano’s Riddler and the little-known Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Kravitz’s Catwoman may be everyone’s favorite villain in Batman’s rogue’s gallery.

There’s a reason that everyone is scrambling to get a piece of the super-hero pie. The film puts you in the public eye and makes you known to the masses as an actor. What better film than to create a massive statement than The Batman, who is probably the most powerful superhero in existence. Since Kravtiz isn’t showing any signs of slowing down, Kravtiz will only continue to gain fame. Who’s to say that in the future, we won’t start calling Lenny Kravitz “Zoe’s Dad”? It’s possible it’s just a matter of time.
